Your Kitchen Caddy Tips

Open your caddy liner bag by removing a bag from the roll . 1) Unfold the bag on the unsealed side.
2) Rub the bag between your thumb and forefinger to open. 3) Use the bag to line the inside of your caddy!
You can put your food scraps in loose without the caddy liner if you choose.
Empty the contents of your kitchen caddy into your existing green-lidded FOGO bin regularly.
Keep your caddy fresh by washing it in the dishwasher or rinsing with warm soapy water.
For an uncluttered benchtop, tuck your caddy under the sink, or in a compartment in your pull-out bin drawer.
Avoid fruit flies by placing a dish with a little apple cider vinegar and a dash of dishwashing liquid near your caddy. This also works well placed next to your fruit bowl - especially if you have bananas!

Tips For Removing Odour

Clean your caddy well between uses, including under the rim. with warm soapy water or pop it in the dishwasher.
Put smelly leftovers in a container, compostable liner and put them in the freezer until bin night.
Line the bottom of your caddy with a slice of bread - to absorb any liquids or odours.
Sprinkle bicarbonate soda in the bottom of your caddy to reduce odour.
Layer garden organics and food organics in your bin to avoid smells.
